After all the anticpation and planning the Fergusson Intermediate building project is finally underway. From a staff point of view the journey to get here has been long, challenging and complicated!
Seeing the first bricks come tumbling down was an important moment met with oohhs, aahhhs and cheering by the students. Of course there were some teary eyes from staff who had fond memories of their days teaching in these rooms!

ReplyDeleteThe demolition has finally started! I am so excited that UGLY old (44 years old, in fact!) building is coming down… New school, HERE WE COME! As a year 7, it’ll be great to have new classes next year. I’m really loving going outside and watching the building come crashing down. This is by far the best year of school.
It was very loud and people were crowding over to see the demolition. It was very exciting and it certainly created a big buzz around the school. Syndicate C were definitely excited to move into their temporary classes until the builders finish the classrooms.
